Abstract

The emergence of many problems in the global supply chain has accelerated the digital transformation in the food industry, but studies show that the rate of innovation and the use of new technologies in Iran's food and beverage industry is slow, and few studies have been conducted. The current research was conducted with the aim of reducing the gap between studies. For this purpose, the conceptual model of Herandi et al. (2022) was chosen as the basic model to identify and prioritize the maturity criteria of digital transformation capability. Also, for the first time, the fuzzy DANP technique was used to extract, determine the weights, and prioritize the criteria and sub-criteria of digital transformation maturity in this industry. The results showed that among the selected industries in Tehran province, infrastructure criteria, digital senior management criteria, and digital delivery leadership criteria were ranked first to third, respectively. Also, the criteria of digital leadership and senior management are effective criteria for infrastructure, especially digital culture. Sub-criteria of human, managerial, and technical infrastructures are also among the sub-criteria of influence and cause. Also, among the criteria of digital senior management, the sub-criteria of digital planning and guidance, environmental monitoring, and digital networking have the effect aspect, and digital coordination and actions have the cause aspect. Among the digital transformation leadership criteria, only the sub-criteria of digital resources are of the effect type, and the rest of the sub-criteria are of the cause type.
